HERNDON WINTERMARKT MAGIC
For one twinkly day each December, downtown Herndon transforms into a true German-style WinterMarkt: rows of tents, steaming Glühwein, and the scent of bratwurst in the air. Sip hot chocolate or a pint, catch live music and polka dancers, and browse handcrafted ornaments, woodworking, artwork, and those impossibly cute mittens. It’s a one-day tradition that makes Reston–Herndon feel downright European—and a little bit magical.
